Stauffers of Kissel Hill is hiring part-time seasonal Cashier team members for our Lititz Pike Home and Garden location. The role requires open availability between 8a-7p and includes weekly pay and a range of benefits.

This is a great entry-level position with opportunities for career growth in a locally owned business. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions, stocking, and keeping the department neat and well displayed.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and customer-focused.
• Ability to work well with others and learn on the job.
• Able to handle basic math and currency transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and thank them.
• Collect cash, checks, or card payments and make change.
• Stock the sales floor and set displays.
• Open and/or close the department as needed.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Our goal is to provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers by greeting with a smile and thanking them.

Essential job functions include (but not limited to):

• Collects cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash transactions
• Provide exceptional service to customers
• Stock sales floor
• Set and sign displays
• Assists in opening and/or closing the department
• Assist with keeping department clean, well organized and well supplied
• Other duties may be assigned based on company/department need
