Stauffers of Kissel Hill is hiring part-time, seasonal team members at our Rohrerstown Road Home and Garden location. The position runs through December with day and weekend shifts between 8am and 7pm.

Qualifications

• The employee is at least 18 years old.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations such as adding and subtracting using multiple digit numbers & units of weight and/or American currency.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and thank them to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
• Handle cash, check, or charge payments and make change.
• Stock the sales floor and set displays.
• Assist with opening/closing the department.
• Keep the department clean, well organized and well supplied.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential job functions include (but not limited to):

• Collects cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash transactions
• Provide exceptional service to customers
• Stock sales floor
• Set and sign displays
• Assists in opening and/or closing the department
• Assist with keeping department clean, well organized and well supplied
• Other duties may be assigned based on company/department need
