Job summary

American Metals Supply is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to safely deliver HVAC materials within a 150-mile radius. The role involves activity with unloading at deliveries and assisting customers, while collaborating with the warehouse for next-day loading.

The position requires a valid CDL Class A and a current DOT medical card, plus warehouse experience and familiarity with forklifts and RF scanners. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with home every night.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license and DOT medical card are required.
• Warehouse experience is required.
• Experience using a forklift and RF scanner is preferred.
• Must be able to walk roughly 10,000 steps daily on concrete floors.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently make multiple deliveries within a 150-mile radius of the branch.
• Assist with unloading products and address customer inquiries.
• Participate in unloading to ensure proper handling and organization of materials.
• Collaborate with warehouse to load truck for next day, optimizing efficiency.
• Use forklifts and barcode RF scanners to support operations and inventory.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections per FMCSA regulations to ensure safety.
