Job summary

American Metals Supply is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to safely deliver HVAC materials within a 150-mile radius. The role involves activity with unloading at deliveries and assisting customers, while collaborating with the warehouse for next-day loading.

The position requires a valid CDL Class A and a current DOT medical card, plus warehouse experience and familiarity with forklifts and RF scanners. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with home every night.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with warehouse to load truck for next day, optimizing efficiency.
• Use forklifts and barcode RF scanners to support operations and inventory.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections per FMCSA regulations to ensure safety.

• Utilize forklifts and barcode RF scanners to facilitate smooth operations and accurate inventory management.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.

CDL Class A Truck Driver Requirements

• Previous truck driving experience or related field is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and a current DOT medical card are essential.
• Must have warehouse experience.
• Experience using a forklift and RF scanner.
