American Metals Supply is hiring a CDL Class A Truck Driver in Springfield, IL. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service as you unload materials and complete deliveries within a 150-mile radius of the branch.

You will support warehouse operations and maintain accurate records, with a focus on following established procedures. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with home every day.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class A and a current DOT medical card.
• Warehouse experience is required.
• Experience with forklifts and RF scanners preferred.
• Ability to handle physical tasks including loading/unloading on concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently make multiple deliveries within a 150-mile radius of the branch.
• Assist with unloading products and address customer inquiries or concerns.
• Participate in unloading processes and ensure materials are properly handled.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to load the truck for the next day.
• Use forklifts and RF scanners to support inventory management.
• Perform pre-trip inspections in line with FMCSA regulations.
