ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks a licensed CDL Driver for local deliveries. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and document each step with photos. The role emphasizes load checks, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with the Delivery Material Handler to place materials at customer sites.

You may perform warehouse tasks as needed. A pre-employment drug screen is required, and CDL Class A is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL – Class A.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (70 pound bundles of shingles).
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of each delivery from the facility to the job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow all directives.
• Document every delivery with photos via camera phone system.
• Perform a thorough load check before leaving the branch.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to place and unload materials.
• Complete logs and required government paperwork accurately.
• Provide the customer with an invoice and collect payment on COD deliveries.
• Possible warehouse tasks including loading/unloading materials as assigned.
