Birdwatch is seeking an intern-like Home Evaluation Specialist to join our team on a part-time, episodic basis. The role involves field visits to homes across Fairfax County and surrounding communities in Northern Virginia, with visits typically 3–4 hours including preparation, data collection, and submission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑person home evaluations for members in Northern Virginia.
• Collect data, take notes, and photograph property features during visits.
• Provide clear, actionable insights to homeowners to guide maintenance.
• Identify safety concerns and suggest appropriate next steps.
• Maintain professional, courteous interactions to strengthen member relationships.
