Collaboration with borrowers, title companies, appraisers, and internal teams is essential to maintain accuracy and timely closings. The role emphasizes adherence to TRID and state lending rules, active NMLS registration, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in loan processing, funding analysis, or related lending operations.
• Home equity or mortgage processing experience preferred.
• Prior credit union or community bank experience preferred.
• Active MLO registration through NMLS or ability to obtain on onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Order and follow up on appraisals, title work, flood searches, and third‑party payoff requests; document status in the loan system.
• Review income, asset, identity, and property documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Update loan system, CRM, Salesforce, and tracking logs with current status and communications.
• Perform final pre‑closing review to ensure all conditions are cleared before handoff to closing.
• Send required notices on denied or withdrawn loans within applicable timeframes.
