Job summary

SoFi seeks a Home Equity Processor to review loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy. You will package loans originated by Loan Officers and communicate across multiple parties to secure timely closings.

Responsibilities include managing a 30-50 loan pipeline, coordinating with clients, brokers, underwriters, and closers, and adapting to evolving mortgage guidelines while keeping borrowers informed through every step.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage processing experience.
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a pipeline of 30–50 loans.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and drive a top-notch customer experience.
• Process, manage, and serve as the primary contact for a pipeline of Home Equity loans to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a progressing pipeline of 30-50 loan applications.
• Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams.
• Adapt to changing mortgage guidelines and requirements.
• Set borrower expectations and be the main contact through closing.
• Request, gather, and analyze documentation for underwriting.
• Handle broker channel loan fulfillment.
• Support interdepartmentally and strive for productivity.
• Coordinate with realtors and referral sources as needed.
