Job summary

Credit Union of Texas is seeking a Home Equity Processor to manage end-to-end processing of home equity loan applications. You will liaise with members, lenders, and third parties to collect and verify documentation, issue disclosures, and resolve conditions.

The role requires adherence to TRID and Texas home equity requirements and involves AI-assisted processing tools. You will maintain accurate records in CUTX systems, provide timely updates, and ensure files are audit-ready from application

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Order and follow up on appraisals, title work, flood searches, and third‑party payoff requests.
Review supporting documents (income, asset, identity, property) for accuracy and conformance to requirements.
Update loan system and logs with current status, conditions, and communications.
Perform final pre‑closing review to confirm all conditions are cleared before handoff to closing.
Send required notices on denied or withdrawn loans within applicable timeframes.
Maintain proactive borrower communication regarding documentation and status.
