Job summary

externallincarecareers seeks a field-based sales professional to manage enteral nutrition care for home tube-fed patients in the assigned territory. You will identify referral sources and promote enteral services to physicians, hospitals, and home health providers.

You will drive shipments of feeding supplies, educate patients on safe feeding, and participate in vendor events while maintaining patient census and ensuring ethical patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from an accredited institution; Nutritionist or Dietitian preferred.
• Licensed as a registered and licensed dietitian for geographic areas where he/she manages patients (preferred).
• Will also consider someone who is an LPN or RN with RD experience.
• Non-clinical sales representative may be considered for a revised, sales-only position.

Responsibilities

• Manage enteral nutrition care for home tube-fed patients.
• Identify and develop new referral sources.
• Promote enteral services to physicians, hospitals, home health and cancer centers.
• Educate patients on enteral feeding for safe and effective care.
• Maintain monthly patient census/admissions.
• Drive deliveries of enteral supplies to patients’ homes.
• Record sales and delivery data daily.
• Participate in vendor fairs, exhibits, and luncheons.
• Conduct in-services for referral sources about enteral equipment.
• Interact with Enteral Intake Team as needed.
