Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician I for Home Therapies to join our dialysis health care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist in home dialysis training, prepare equipment, and ensure a safe and clean home environment for patients and care partners.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS/state certifications, CPR certification, and previous patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
• CPR certification is required per CMS/state requirements.
• CMS-approved state/national certification requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces HHD/PD training as permitted by law.
• Set up and disinfect dialysis equipment and supplies.
• Obtain vital signs and coordinate patient care with RNs and staff.
• Assist with patient registration, records, and supplies management.
• Maintain a clean, safe home dialysis training environment.
