Job summary

Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Non CDL Driver at our Peru, IL terminal. You will drive a non-CDL vehicle between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight at dock height, with dayshift hours Monday through Friday.

The role requires a valid driver license with 3 years of driving experience, a Class C endorsement for IL or Class 2 for IN, and compliance with DOT examinations and pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Class C endorsement in Illinois or Class 2 endorsement in Indiana.
• Must pass DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Non CDL vehicle between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight at dock height.
• Load and unload freight either independently or with dockworkers; use freight handling equipment where available.
• Secure freight using straps or other methods as needed.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition; comply with laws and company policies.
