Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full-Time Non-CDL Driver/Dockworker at our Indianapolis, IND Terminal. Pay starts at $26.37/hour and rises to $29.08/hour after the first year, with hours Tuesday–Saturday, 5 AM start, and occasional Mondays.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent.
• Valid Driver License & 3 years driving experience.
• Class C Endorsement if in Illinois or #2 Endorsement if in Indiana.
• Must hold license from resident state; provide prior license details if moved states.
• No DUI/OWI or reckless driving in past 5 years.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• Must pass DOT physical and functional screen.
• Must consent to pre-employment drug screening and negative prior employer drug tests.
• Must undergo 10-year work history check with gaps explained.
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math.
• Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Non CDL vehicle safely between customer locations and terminals.
• Load and unload vehicle, with or without assistance; use freight handling equipment when available.
• Secure freight using straps or other methods as needed.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Comply with company policies and all regulations for safe operation of CMV.
• Perform other duties as needed.
