Job summary

Casey’s is hiring a Field Maintenance Technician to service HVAC and refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, and fuel systems across 12–15 stores in Kearney, NE and nearby areas. You’ll have a company vehicle, tools, and relocation assistance may be provided.

The role emphasizes day shift work with no on-call or weekend hours, travel up to 40% with overnight stays, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal Certification required or obtainable within 180 days.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and determine repair or replacement.
• Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel systems.
• Test equipment performance and replace defective parts.
• Install electrical equipment and repair wiring, fixtures, and bulbs.
• Complete service documentation after each call and submit reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
