Job summary

Casey’s is seeking a Field Maintenance Technician in the Joplin area to service HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical and fuel systems across 12-15 stores.

Relocation assistance may be available. You’ll work Monday–Friday with travel required, and the company provides a vehicle, fuel card, tools, laptop, tablet and phone. Starting pay ranges from $25.50 to $33.50 per hour, plus benefits and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades.
• Prior experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment and parts.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal Certification required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire date.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and determine repairs or replacements.
• Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel systems.
• Test equipment performance and replace defective parts.
• Install electrical equipment and repair wiring and fixtures.
• Complete service documentation after each call and submit reports.
