Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a delivery driver to support daily customer deliveries and returns across the Harrisonburg, VA area. You will load, transport, and unload materials, maintain accurate delivery tickets, and help with warehouse tasks as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT medical card, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will operate standard technology, including iPads, and follow all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Drivers license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, including loading/unloading and ensuring delivery ticket accompanies material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck and report issues.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling/preparing orders,Receiving, verifying, staging and stocking material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Comply with PPE usage and safety regulations.
