Job summary

Ferguson in Richmond, VA is seeking a delivery driver with a valid CDL to provide materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure accurate delivery tickets. You will perform daily pre-trip inspections, follow safety policies, and support warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid CDL and be at least 21 years old.
Meet DOT standards and maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
Warehouse operations and logistics experience is a plus.
Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
Able to operate iPads and basic technology.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers and assist with loading/unloading.
Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, report issues.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Assist with pulling and preparing orders and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed; comply with PPE requirements.
