Job summary

Ernst Concrete is seeking a professional truck driver to pick up, transport, and deliver ready-mix materials. You will perform daily DOT inspections, verify loads, and coordinate with plant staff to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

The role requires adherence to safety policies, good communication, and the ability to work flexible hours as needed. Responsibilities include unloading at designated plants, submitting documents, and maintaining the tractor and tanker per company standards.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read GPS/navigation on company devices.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver materials to production facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip DOT inspections and check fluids.
• coordinate with load master for loading instructions and routes.
• ensure loads meet weight regulations and deliver to designated plants.
• complete paperwork and submit Bill of Lading to batch man.
• maintain cleanliness of tractor and tanker per Ernst standards.
• adhere to safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
