Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class A Driver in Dothan, AL to operate a waste hauling truck and collect residential waste along a ~150 mile route. You will perform pre-trip inspections and ensure safety compliance, reporting defects as needed.

The position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health plans with an HSA, dental and vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, and a retirement plan with a 5% company match.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A driver required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with truck driving rules and regulations and company policies.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Lifts and carries residential waste to a compactor.
• Inspects vehicles for mechanical/safety issues and reports maintenance needs.
• Reports defects, accidents, or violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
