Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is hiring a CDL Class A Truck Driver in Dothan, AL. You will operate a waste hauling truck, lift and deposit residential waste into a compactor, and stay safety-conscious on routes about 150 miles from home.

We offer weekly pay, health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, a retirement match, paid time off, and incentive programs. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10–12 hour shifts, with home daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience required.
• CDL Class A required.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with truck driving rules and regulations and company policies.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Lifts and carries residential waste into a compactor.
• Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports maintenance needs.
• Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
