Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck and provide trash pickup. You will lift and deposit waste into a compactor and travel within roughly 150 miles of home, with safety as a priority and routine vehicle inspections throughout the route.

The role requires at least 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience, a CDL A or B, and minimal moving violations in the past 3 years.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience required.
CDL Class A or B required.
No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Complies with truck driving rules and regulations and company policies.
Maneuvers trucks into loading/unloading positions.
Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports maintenance needs.
Reports defects, accidents, or violations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
