Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck serving Cairo, GA and surrounding areas. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and load waste into compactors along a roughly 150-mile radius from home.

The role emphasizes attentiveness to safety, reporting issues, and staying on the road rather than at a desk. A Class B license with driving experience is required, with competitive weekly pay and benefits

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year verifiable Class B driving experience.
CDL Class A or B required.
No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Complies with truck driving rules and regulations and company policies.
Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports maintenance needs.
Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
