Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to multiple locations in a safe, timely manner. This full-time role offers a salary-based pay with bonus opportunities and customer-service emphasis at loading/delivery sites.

You will secure loads, tarp when needed, and operate a forklift for loading/unloading. A valid CDL-A and clean driving record are required, with DOT regulations followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure the load and occasionally tarping the product; no touch freight.
• Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.
