Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a professional delivery driver in Gary, IN to keep products moving to customers on a daily basis. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck and manage loading, unloading, and delivery with a focus on safety and timeliness.

The role offers a solid earning potential between $90,000 and $135,000 per year, with an average around $94,000, and a schedule that starts early Monday through Friday. Home daily with no sleeper team requirements.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate local, over-the-road and shuttle routes.
• Delivers customer orders according to predetermined route schedule.
• Unloads products and secures loads, obtaining signatures and handling paperwork.
• Ensures safety checks and DOT compliance; reports hazards and defects.
