Performance Foodservice is seeking a driver to support deliveries from Gary, IN. The role involves Monday–Friday schedules with early dispatch between 3am–5am, home daily, no sleeper, and a competitive pay range.

Earned compensation ranges from $90,000 to $135,000 per year, with an average around $94,000. Expect 1st-day benefits, and opportunities for growth within a staple of America’s food distribution system.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license and a clean MVR.
• DOT Health Card valid.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass drug test and background check.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck per route plan and DOT regulations.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and ensures safety compliance.
• Delivers and unloads food products at customers’ locations.
• Completes paperwork and collects signatures as needed.
• Maintains secure trailers and equipment after each shift.
