Job summary

Performance Food Group, a broadline distributor, is seeking an experienced delivery driver to service customers in the Gary, IN area. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products safe, timely, and with DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip safety checks, checking invoices, unloading, getting customer signatures, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes delivering and unloading food and related products.
• Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections and safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Accurately check invoices, collect payments where required, and secure cargo and paperwork.
