Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking drivers for its Big Wheels operation in Metro-Detroit. You will operate a Class A truck delivering freight to customers, perform safety inspections, and comply with DOT rules. Home daily and on-weekend potential shifts provide stability and earnings opportunities.

Flat-rate/mileage pay offers up to $295 daily, with 50–60 hour weeks and benefits after 90 days. This full-time position requires a CDL-A and a safe driving record.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• At least 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months.
• Clean driving record with a safe-driving history.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight to and from customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Secure and handle freight properly (may include loading/unloading).
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Adhere to schedules while practicing safe driving habits.
