Job summary

Visiting Angels of York is seeking compassionate caregivers for a part-time position with potential for full-time hours based on flexibility and demand. Work in a one-on-one care environment serving seniors in York and surrounding areas. Competitive starting pay and a support-focused office team accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• CNA license preferred but not required; focus on compassionate care.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care.
• Help with light housekeeping and quiet household tasks.
• Perform transfers, ambulation and mobility assistance as needed.
• Monitor client safety and comfort, including night checks.
• Provide non-medical assistance as assigned.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing, getting dressed, toileting, and incontinence care
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks
• Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed
• Monitor the client to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night
• Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old to apply
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• CNA license preferred, but not required
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
