Job summary

Home Instead Seattle is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers for part-time, short 2-6 hour shifts servicing West Seattle, Central Seattle and North Seattle. You will support older adults with daily living activities in clients' homes.

Must hold an active HCA or CNA certification, with a valid driver's license preferred. A patient, dependable attitude is essential. Pay ranges from $22 to $32 per hour, with paid training and 24/7 office support.

Qualifications

• Active HCA or CNA certification required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Commitment to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe transfers and mobility with gait belts and assistive devices.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Give medication and appointment reminders as needed.
• Provide Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's care as appropriate.
• Offer Hospice support when required.
• Promote safety, dignity, independence, and well-being for clients.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and the care team.
