Job summary

Visiting Angels of York is seeking compassionate caregivers for a flexible, part-time role with hours available up to full-time based on demand. You’ll provide non-medical in-home care, assist with daily activities, and support seniors to stay independent in their own homes.

The position offers flexible scheduling (days, evenings, or nights), a $500 new hire bonus, referrals, and benefits like a 401(k) and voluntary health plans. Travel is possible within York County and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, getting dressed, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks.
• Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed.
• Monitor the client to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night.
• Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned.

Education
