Job summary

Visiting Angels in York, PA seeks compassionate home caregivers for part-time hours with optional full-time flexibility. You will provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home, with overnight shifts and weekend premiums for eligible hours.

Requirements include being 18+, able to pass background checks, and a preference for 1 year caregiving experience and CNA certification. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport are needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship at home.
• Issue medication reminders.

• Personal care and hygiene assistance; including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance; such as assisting with walking and transfers.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and needed companionship to seniors at home

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years to apply
• Available for overnight shifts
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• CNA license preferred, but not required
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
• Candidate must be dependable and display a positive attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors
