Visiting Angels of York is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a part-time role with up to full-time hours depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. The position serves clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, PA.

Shifts run 3 pm–11 pm with weekend premiums and a $500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include 401K with company match and voluntary healthcare plans, plus 24/7 shift support and a one-on-one care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
• Candidate must be dependable and display a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and transportation to doctor’s appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance including walking and transfers.
