Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma NLN approved/accredited nursing program.
• 1 year nursing experience in a healthcare setting and 1 year direct care nursing experience.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and sound clinical judgement.
• Knowledge of agency and network clinical policies, procedures, and resource materials.
• BLS - Basic Life Support and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients through phone calls utilizing critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgement.
• Performs data/order entry, patient/staff scheduling, and other clinical tasks related to the provision of patient care.
• Provides hand-off communication to care team regarding triage information and patient status updates.
