Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is looking for caring individuals in the Wyong area to help older Australians live independently at home, delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

This permanent part-time role provides 40 hours per fortnight, paid induction and ongoing training, travel time, and opportunities to upskill. You’ll perform domestic and personal care tasks, medication assistance, and companionship, to promote independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Paid 3+ months experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car.
• Able to work a minimum of 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday with one weekend per month.
• Will complete the paid Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes.
• Domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Personal care such as showering, grooming, toileting and mobility support.
• Medication assistance and safety checks.
• Provide social support, transport and companionship to promote independence.

About You

• Live across the Wyong area including Bushells Ridge, Jilliby, Kangy Angy, Mardi, Rocky Point, Tacoma/Tacoma South, Tuggerah, Tuggerawong, Wadalba, Watanobbi, Wyongah, Yarramalong and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month availability required)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 40hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
