Job summary

Jewish Family and Children's Services seeks a Home Care Supervisor to oversee services for Holocaust Survivor clients, coordinating with leadership to ensure ADL care plans are implemented and hours are properly staffed.

The role requires a California driver’s license, Russian language proficiency, and at least three years in home care or social services, with strong communication to families and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Russian language proficiency required.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in home care or social services.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Care Manager to implement the client care plan through home visits.
• Develops an individualized care plan with the client and family at the home.
• Conducts safety assessments during initial consultations with clients and family.
• Communicates changes in client condition promptly to the Care Manager.
• Supervises and supports caregivers and resolves issues with families.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage to support staffing.
• Ensures training and compliance with CDSS regulations.
