Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Experience with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if driving duties are involved.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers.

Aufgaben

• Provide day-to-day direction and supervision of direct support staff, including training and feedback.
• Prepare staff schedules and maintain thorough documentation (HPC service documentation, behavior notes, logs, incidents, medications, mileage).
• Support a trusting, growth‑oriented environment and mutual support.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and staff to ensure quality and continuity of support.
• Help clients meet their individual goals throughout the day.
• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, toileting, hygiene).
• Follow person-centered and behavior plans for each resident.
• Ensure a safe environment while respecting residents’ rights and building trust.
• Prepare meals as required by dietary needs and documentation.
• Transport clients to activities/appointments and obtain required documentation.
