Arcadia Home Care & Staffing in Lima, OH is seeking a full-time Scheduler/ Supervisor to coordinate and oversee in-home care workers and client care plans. You will schedule staff, monitor care delivery, and ensure documentation and authorizations are processed accurately.

• 1 year office and recruiting experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
• Processes patient authorizations and communicates with central admissions, enters reauthorizations into client record and ensures chart preparation for all new clients.
• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• On-board and train new branch Administrative employees.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area. If you seek a challenging position with the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped older people and people with disabilities live safely at home, this is the job for you! Supervisory and/or home care experience preferred.

Hours: Full Time | Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Essential Duties:

• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.

• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Position Requirements & Competencies:
