Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Havre, MT is seeking a full-time supervisor to schedule in-home care workers and oversee client care in a defined geographic area. This role requires coordinating coverage, ensuring care plans are followed, and maintaining strong communication with clients and providers to prevent service interruptions.

Office hours are in-office, Monday–Thursday 8–5 and Friday 8–4, with benefits and opportunities to grow within a leading home health provider.

Qualifications

• 1 year of industry experience required.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Scheduling program.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system and manages changes due to client requests, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and services are not interrupted.
• Contacts care providers and clients to provide service updates.
• Conducts monthly client wellness calls and home visits as required.
• Handles escalated client complaints and theft claims with thorough follow‑through.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting attendance, performance and conduct expectations.
• Maintains a professional branch environment and overall cleanliness.
• Maintains confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
• Ensures regular attendance and flexibility to meet agency needs.
• Follows all regulations and policies including MCO, Medicare, Medicaid and HIPAA.

Essential Duties:

• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client’s care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
• Contacts care providers and clients to provide service updates

• Provides thorough, complete follow-through on escalated client complaints and theft claims
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company’s policies and guidelines
• Ensures the appearance of the branch’s open environment is professional: neat, clean, orderly and generally free of clutter
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
• Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the agency
• Follows all MCO, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
• Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Position Requirements & Competencies:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Industry experience required
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
• Must have reliable transportation.
