Job summary

Lincare seeks a field-based equipment technician to install and service respiratory devices in patients' homes, focusing on ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units. You will perform installations in a timely and professional manner and provide hands-on technical assistance with equipment.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled. You will maintain patient records, educate patients, and adhere to Safety, OSHA, and FDA guidelines

Qualifications

• Provides patient education as part of patient care per policy.
• Requires a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Performs professional patient assessments per procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Adheres to Safety, OSHA, DOT, FDA, and Emergency Planning guidelines.
• Represents Lincare through appearance, patient care and reports.
• Facilitates prescription collection and maintains records per accreditation.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled; response timely.

Responsibilities

• Sets up highly technical equipment (ventilators, monitors, CPAP).
• Provides in-home technical assistance with equipment.
• Performs oxygen equipment setup as needed.
• Educates patients as part of care in home settings.
• Maintains organized patient records and reports.
• Participates in on-call rotation evenings/weekends.
