Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a field-based respiratory care equipment technician to set up ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units in patients' homes and facilities.

This role includes providing technical assistance, patient education, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policy. The position requires two or more years in home healthcare, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to patient sites.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in home healthcare required.
• Three years in home healthcare may involve training others.
• Experience setting up highly technical equipment (ventilators, monitors, CPAP).
• Valid driver''s license and access to personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education as part of care activities.
• Perform complete and professional patient assessments.
• Maintain current knowledge of home healthcare techniques and respiratory concepts.
• Follow Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning).
• Represent Lincare through professional appearance and documentation.
• Facilitate prescription collection and maintain patient records.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
