Qualifications

• Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
• One year of clinical experience as a Healthcare Respiratory Therapist or nurse with ventilator experience.
• Valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch, or RN with active unrestricted license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage respiratory therapies including PAP, ventilator, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy.
• Perform clinical assessments, interpret findings, and provide recommendations to physicians and referrals.
• Conduct patient set-ups and education, ensuring patient and caregiver confidence with equipment.
• Coordinate and assist with CPAP/BiPAP authorizations and referrals.
• Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment and supply inventory.
