Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in home and alternate settings. You will manage PAP, ventilator, airway clearance, and oxygen therapies while collaborating with physicians, referrals, and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions to home care.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree in respiratory therapy, active licensure, and 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
• 1 year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.
• Active Respiratory Therapist license (US) or RN/LPN with applicable credentials, where required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage respiratory therapies in patient homes and alternate care settings.
• Perform clinical assessments and communicate findings to physicians/referral sources.
• Conduct patient set-ups, follow-ups, and education to ensure confidence with equipment.
• Coordinate discharges and transitions to home care with care teams.
• Maintain infection control, PPE, HIPAA, and charting standards.
