Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home care team.

You will support licensed Physical Therapists in creating and executing effective treatment plans, helping patients regain movement and reduce pain in a home setting. Candidates with experience in geriatric, orthopedic, or hospital-based care, along with knowledge of physiology and inpatient therapy procedures, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, preferably in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Help patients regain movement and manage pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and care routines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
