Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our Homecare team. You will implement the OT plan of care under supervision and travel to patients' homes within your territory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Mandatory First Aid, AED, CPR certifications.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes within territory.
• Strong communication with patients, staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy plan of care as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate occupational therapy techniques.
• Ability to travel to and from the homes of your patients throughout your given territory.
• Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.
• Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.
