Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Nassau County seeks a Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our Homecare team. You will implement the OT plan of care under supervision and travel to patients' homes within your territory.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited OTA degree, NJ COTA license, 2+ years of experience, and current First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications. We offer a $1,500 annual certification stipend, 401(k) with company match, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• First Aid, AED, CPR certifications.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes within the assigned geographic territory.
• Strong communication with patients, support staff, and management.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy plan of care as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients per physician plan and agency policy.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in OT techniques.
• Ability to travel to and from patients' homes throughout the territory.
• Maintain timely communication via text, email, or phone.
