Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years healthcare experience.
• LPN or RN preferred; at least one year of supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct management of Brookdale at Home associates, typically 10 to 20, including coaching, counsels, disciplines, and performance evaluations.
• Ensures adequate staffing coverage for provision of services on a day-to-day basis.
• Motivates associates through staff appreciation, recognition, and incentive programs; promotes positive relations and resolves grievances.
• Provides orientation, training, and ongoing education to staff in classroom, in-services, and situation-specific training.
• Manages billing and scheduling of services or delegation of such tasks; coordinates resources for associates and families.
• Maintains documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and compliance with guidelines; supports safety and infection control standards.
• Maintains knowledge of national/state requirements for scope of practice, supervision, credentialing and ongoing competency.
