Job summary

BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced Home Care Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Davis and Weber County area with occasional travel to surrounding locations. The role requires a minimum of one year IV infusion experience in a home care setting.

Responsibilities include performing IV starts, phlebotomy, and managing IVIG, PICC lines, and ports while delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year documented IV infusion experience in a Home Care setting.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Utah.
• CPR certification and TB test or chest X-ray (may obtain after hire).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle; insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to clients based on personalized Plan of Care.
• Monitor and track changes in client conditions and needs.
• Update clients' families on health changes and plan of care.

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Phlebotomy in Peds and/or Adults
• IV starts in Peds and/or Adults
• PICC lines
• Ports
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in IV Infusions in a Home Care setting.
• Minimum 6 (six) months experience of IVIG infusion preferred
• Hemophiliacs and Factor administration
• Enzyme administration

REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Utah
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (may obtain after hire)
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable vehicle
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
