Job summary

BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City East is seeking a Home Care Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) in Utah. Must have a minimum of one year IV infusion experience in home care.

Flexible schedule, weekly pay, and a Joint Commission Accredited agency support high-quality patient care in Davis, Weber, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include personalized plans of care, monitoring client status, and communicating health changes to families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year documented IV infusion experience in home care.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Utah; CPR certification required.
• TB test or chest x-ray negative; may obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care based on a personalized Plan of Care.
• Monitor changes in client conditions and needs.
• Proactively update family on plan of care and health changes.

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Phlebotomy in Peds and/or Adults
• IV starts in Peds and/or Adults
• PICC lines
• Ports
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in IV Infusions in a Home Care setting.
• Minimum 6 (six) months experience of IVIG infusion preferred
• Hemophiliacs and Factor administration
• Enzyme administration

REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Utah
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (may obtain after hire)
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable vehicle
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.

Responsibilities for the RN:

• Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
• Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs
• Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
