Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Home Care Infusion Registered Nurse in the Davis and Weber County area of Utah. The role requires at least 1 year of documented IV infusion experience in a home care setting, with IV starts, phlebotomy, and line care among core duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of documented IV infusion experience in a Home Care setting.
• PHI-handling and patient privacy experience preferred.
• Ability to perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and manage IV equipment in patients’ homes.
• Comfort with pediatric/adult IV infusions and line care.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful, individualized infusion care per Plan of Care.
• Monitor patient status and update families on health changes and concerns.
• Coordinate care with the broader home care team to ensure quality outcomes.

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Phlebotomy in Peds and/or Adults
• IV starts in Peds and/or Adults
• PICC lines
• Ports
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in IV Infusions in a Home Care setting.
• Minimum 6 (six) months experience of IVIG infusion preferred
• Hemophiliacs and Factor administration
• Enzyme administration

REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Utah
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (may obtain after hire)
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable vehicle
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.

Responsibilities for the RN:

• Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
• Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs
• Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
